Water and Acne

without comments

bottled-water

Did you know that water can affect your acne outbreaks? Dead skin cells, as you know, are one of the things that can clog your pores and cause these outbreaks. But if you don’t keep yourself hydrated, you could end up not begin able to flush away those dead cells effectively so they end up being left behind to clog your pores and lead to pimples. That’s a good reason to grab that bottle of water!

Stress & Pimples

without comments

cf_skincare_main_Did you know stress is supposed to be connected to outbreaks? That makes sense to me since stress can impact your hormones and your hormones can make it more likely for you to develop acne. What a crazy process, huh? And it can go full circle, too! You can be stressed, have a breakout, worry about your breakout, and make it worse! It just doesn’t seem fair.

Another Good Tip I Learned

without comments

anti-aging-treatments-exfoliateOne of those make-up people in the mall told me another good secret: exfoliate twice a week. Exfoliating basically removes dead skin cells from the face so they can’t clog up the pores and lead to pimples. When I combined exfoliating with Murad acne products, I started having much clearer skin.

The Right Product

without comments

removing-make-upAnother important part of keeping your skin acne free, at least in my experience, is having a good product to use. Acne solutions can take good care of your skin and can eliminate blemishes whenever they do pop up. Having good products is always a good idea but sometimes it takes trial and error to find the right one.

The Commercial

24168-6medAnyway, the medication being promoted by the commercial can dry out your skin and can cause other problems. Plus, you have to take extra precautions when you’re exposed to sunlight. And the list of side effects and risks just seemed to go on forever. It was crazy! I would never use any of that stuff, especially not just for mild acne.

Dry Skin & Acne?

Acne vulgaris

Here’s something I didn’t know: dry skin can lead to acne, too. Now I haven’t experienced this myself – everything is still good here. But one of my co-workers and I were discussing acne and she told me that she has outbreaks all the time but she doesn’t have oily skin. So I asked her how that could possibly be the case.

My Friend & Her Acne

without comments

My old friend is really going through a rough time and acne is probably the last thing she wants to be dealing with on top of everything else. That’s why I went ahead and suggested that she pick up this acne kitacne_makeup that I got. Apparently, it’s done wonders for my oily skin and that’s helped prevent me from having more outbreaks. And that has made me happy.
