Oily Skin Problems
Lots of people do have oily skin but they often deal with it the wrong way. If you pick up one of those products intended to dry out your skin, you’ll probably end up over drying it. That’s bad because it can make you more vulnerable to breakouts by inflaming your skin and inviting bacterial infections. Instead, you need to use a more gentle product like acne complex that doesn’t over dry.
My Friend & Her Acne
My old friend is really going through a rough time and acne is probably the last thing she wants to be dealing with on top of everything else. That’s why I went ahead and suggested that she pick up this acne kit
that I got. Apparently, it’s done wonders for my oily skin and that’s helped prevent me from having more outbreaks. And that has made me happy.
The Wedding Part 3
As I was saying about my friend . . . she just recently had to start a new job search after being downsized. And now with her face breaking out from the stress, her confidence levels are at an all time low. Without confidence, she’s going to have a hard time getting a new job. And without an end to her stress, she doesn’t think her skin is going to clear up. I’m going to tell her about what I’m using.
Major Breakout
I’ve definitely been under a lot of stress and my skin was in the process of doing a major breakout. I’ve started using the product I purchased on my face and have noticed some improvement. It definitely doesn’t seem as oily as it did. I’m hoping the improvements continue since I hav
e a wedding to attend tomorrow.
The Summer & Oily Skin
Because my skin is almost always oily anyway, I hate the summer. During the winter, the cold air and the heater help dry me out – which I know isn’t good for my skin either – but at least it doesn’t leave it feeling so icky (I can’t think of a better description). Hopefully, the product I’m using will
help clear up the excess oil so I don’t have more breakouts.
Fighting Acne
I’ve been under a lot of stress lately and that always makes me breakout worse than anything. Supposedly, the stress can trigger some type of hormonal change which causes more oil to be produced by the follicles. All I know is that I really could use some type of effective acne treatment right about now.
Acne Myths
Remember when your mom used to say greasy foods or chocolate caused pimples? Sometimes I hear people my age say the same thing. Pimples are caused by pores that get blocked by dirt and dead skin cells. When the oil builds up in the follicle, it starts to bulge and become a pimple (or blemish as my mother used to say).

The Myth of Teenage Acne
I watched a commercial today that implied acne was only something teenagers had to worry about. I care to differ. Sometimes when I hear women complaining about dry skin I think, “They don’t know how lucky they are!” To be less oily and acne prone would definitely be a blessing.
